Our really close friends, Bill & Courtney Scruggs, have a little baby boy, named Rhyer, who was born (9/27/07) with a congenital heart defect- called HLHS (hypoplastic left heart syndrome- in common language basically only 1/2 of a working heart). Rhyer is recovering from his second corrective open heart surgery right now at U of M hospital, in Ann Arbor. Please join us in praying for Rhyer's heart and recovery from his recent surgery.

I was searching on the web to learn more about HLHS and stumbled across a support web page that created this "hope video" about baby boy's with HLHS or HRHS. It was so touching, it actually brought me to tears, especially with knowing Rhyer. Get your tissue ready!
